Dipper

Not the best shot in the world, I'll admit.

But saw this Dipper (or Water Ousel) during
my 5 mile walk in the Pentlands today

If you know that part of the world, it was by the
stream that runs between the two reservoirs

Linlithgow Palace from the West Bay

Just to let you understand, this is 50 metres
from a busy High Street in Scotland!!!

And....you can park your car 5 metres from
where this shot was taken!

Really nice shot....in spite of the birds ...lol

Believe it might be some form of Mallard hybrid
Have not got a clue what the other could be
..please advise soonest if you think you know!!

Went to Linlithgow Loch today to take some shots of birds
I'd heard it was an easy place to go to to get photos

This is a shot of swans galore!!

Spring IS coming!

......at least this crocus in my garden thinks so!!

North Berwick East Beach - walk today

Took a walk along North Berwick east beach today. The weather was fantastic (if a little cold)
The shot below shows the correct time in the afternoon on North Berwick clock on the High Street.

You can just see the moon rising


I so wish I had my new camera and lenses!!!!
This is, I believe, a pair of Bar Tailed Godwits.

You should have seen the shots I'd have got when I get my new camera....lol
