nice picture, which leads me to my story entitled attack of the seagulls... last sunday i thought it would be nice to go get some bread and feed the ducks after church. (I did one day this summer and I remembered it was fun to do as a kid. theraputic) Well after being there for a short time i see an abundance of seagulls and only a few ducks i then remembered that most normal ducks fly south for the winter. so i head over to the part of the potomac where I saw three ducks and called out to them in duck talk "quack" "quack" (I make a pretty good duck sound) and i throw some bread out to them and low and behold who comes swarming down to the water but the seagulls. there were so many and I got scared threw a bunch of bread and ran away. There was a couple out walking who found it humorous so while I was running away I had to get in a good laugh as well. Those dern gulls even had the nerve to follow me wanting the rest of the bread. It was too funny (but I was scared) a few of them even followed me to my car.
my friend reminded me of finding nemo and the gulls that in the movie that shouted out mine mine mine mine when they saw food. I now know that that is so true about them... the lesson in all this for is to wait until the spring to feed the ducks..hey I think I will make this a blog entry I'm sure others would get a kick out of it.
